Montclair is home to several shopping “districts” or centers, featuring a wide array of galleries, clothing boutiques, gift shops & gourmet food stores as well as national retailers such as Urban Outfitters, Anthropology, Williams-Sonoma and The Gap. Montclair Center, located in and around Bloomfield Avenue offers dozens of shops and restaurants, highlighted by the pedestrian-only Church Street dotted with multiple choices for outdoor dining and people-watching. You’ll find a small and eclectic group of shops and restaurants along Walnut Street just steps from the train station, home of Montclair’s own Farmer’s Market every Saturday from June through November.  Bordered by the Montclair Art Museum to the west and the historical Lackawanna Plaza to the east, Montclair Center is just blocks from 2 train stations and both NJ Transit and DeCamp bus lines.
